Abstract
Regional characteristics of the external respiration function have been studied in 814 male subjects aged 8–28 years living in northeastern Russia. It is shown that several parameters of external respiration do not differ from reference values or slightly exceed them. At the same time, volume and time parameters characterizing the conductance of the bronchial tree are increased by 30–50% in comparison with the reference value. In the winter-spring period, compared to autumn-winter, a significant increase in the bronchial conductance is observed, which is related to the adaptation of the body to a set of adverse factors of winter.
