Abstract

The specimen of Crossidium geheebii from Sinai, reduced to synonymy with C. aberrans by Delgadillo (1975), is shown to belong to C. geheebii. The disjunct Sinai - Australia, New Zealand distribution is interpreted as a relict of the Xerothermic Pangaean distribution pattern.
