Abstract
The beautiful and ancient city of Nice, located on the French Riviera, was certainly a splendid location for this conference which was sponsored by SF2M and TMS, reports Dr PETER DEARNLEY. The venue, the Acropolis Conference Centre, was shared with the IFHT who, by prior arrangement, had kindly agreed to allow SMT delegates to attend their sessions and to visit the heat treatment exhibition.
