Abstract

The section discrepancies in the first order levelling network of Taiwan were investigated using statistical techniques of analysis of variance and time series. The test executed by analysis of variance showed that there were no significant systematic errors remaining in the net. This conclusion was confirmed by the time series technique that all of the lag-one autocorrelations, computed for each line, were very small and statistically insignificant.
