Abstract

The subsidence monitoring network of the Taipei Basin was used as an empiric example to propose working formulae for the constrained adjustment in practice. The experiment indicates that there is no significant difference between the two variances of unit weight when they are estimated by the existing fonnula and the one proposed in the author's preceding paper. Nevertheless, the accuracy of the estimated unknown must be computed according to the author's formula.
