Abstract
A comprehensive aeroelastic analysis that can predict the performance, vibratory loads and aeroelastic stability of eomposite- coupled advanced geometry tiltrotors that include gimballed hub, elastic wing and elastic fuselage motion is presented. Helicopter, conversion and airplane modes of operation are modeled. Predictions from this analysis for trim controls, response, loads and aeroelastic stability correlate as well with test data as do predictions from other established analyses.
