Abstract
Results are presented for an experimental investigation of the molding of articles formed from a powder material.Theoretical and experimental relationships for the variation in the density of the material, and also three-dimensional plots of the distribution of the density and the average normal and tangential stresses in the volume of the molding at different times during the molding process are presented.
