Abstract
Estimates of hydraulic losses, which can be used in analyzing flow regimes in order to generalize those regimes with anti-turbulence additives, are examined. A model of additive performance, which is based on the linear law of transformation of the coefficients in Leibenson’s generalized formula as a function of an input parameter — degree of laminarization of a turbulent flow in smooth-wall pipes — is proposed. The model makes it possible to predict the hydraulic resistance of an oil pipeline.
