Abstract
This article examines the impact of Goodson’s research and scholarly publications over the last three decades in the sociology of curriculum. The article evaluates Goodson’s work in the areas of schools, subjects, and curriculum change, and its impact on pedagogy globally. The article argues that Goodson’s scholarly books and research in curriculum theorising and classroom pedagogy continue to be highly relevant in the global culture, undergoing rapid social change and transformation.
