Abstract

Carbon monoxide sensors derived from nanosized semiconductor Co x O y /SnO2 materials were studied. The introduction of cobalt oxides enhances the sensitivity of the sensors toward CO. Sensitive semiconductor sensors were obtained derived from nanosized materials Co x O y /SnO2 capable of rapidly measuring CO in a broad concentration range (125-2500 ppm) with response time t 0.9 = 4.9 s.
