Abstract
From the experimental measurements of the ultrasound velocity and of the density, the adiabatic compressibility is calculated for six liquid mixtures containing a polar component and a nonpolar solvent. The variation of this structural parameter with the temperature and concentration is interpreted on the basis of the hypothesis and known data of the structure of the liquid state. The experimental curves are approximated through mathematical equations obtained by means of a computer.
