Abstract

The structure and the fatigue resistance of titanium alloy VT3-1 after electropulse treatment (EPT) are studied by the method of x-ray diffractometry. The effect of EPT on the relaxation of residual stresses, the size of mosaic blocks, the elastic modulus of the surface layer, and the yield strength of the alloy is determined.
