Abstract

Results of experimental studies on the effect of Si (3%) or W (4%) alloying of Kh14N20 structural steel as-received on its resistance to short-term and long-term static and cyclic thermal loading are presented. The increase in short-term and long-term static strength as well as in thermal fatigue characteristics is more pronounced for W alloying and less marked for Si alloying.
