Abstract
A series of 3-aryl(methyl)-5-(N-phenylaminocarboxymethyl)-2-isoxazoles and sodium salts of 5(6)-alkoxycarbonylamino derivatives of 2-aryl-1-hydroxybenzimidazole-3-oxides were synthesized using 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reactions between carbonitrile N-oxides and functional derivatives of N-arylcarbamates. The obtained compounds were tested for cardiovascular activity. The hypertensive effect of hetarylcarbamates and the antiischemic properties of benzimidazole-3-oxide derivatives depend on the nature (electron structure) of substituents and on their positions in the benzene ring.
