Abstract

The structure of the ln-Zn eutectic has been found to be broken lamellar, in agreement with calculated values of the solid-liquid interface roughness parameter. The conditions required to produce this structure are characterized.RésuméL’eutectique ln-Zn est constitué de lamelles interrompues, ainsi que le laisse prévoir des calculs tenant compte du coefficient d’aspérité de l’interface solide-liquide. Les auteurs soulignent les conditions qui déterminent la présence de ce genre de structure.
