Abstract
The Royal College of Surgeons of England is committed to patient safety and surgical standards, achieved by active engagement in all aspects of the changes that will affect patient care. Its experience in curriculum design has underpinned the work in progress for the surgical care practitioner (SCP) curriculum framework.
