Abstract
ABSTRACT This research concerns levels of governor involvement in development planning in 18 primary schools and forms part of a larger project on school development plans. Governor involvement varied between and within schools and this is discussed in relation to headteachers' and governors' attitudes to governor involvement. Examples of 'good practice' from different schools are discussed.
