Abstract
Lead-free ceramics of NaNbO3 - LiNbO3 were prepared by conventional ceramic processing technique. The obtained samples show perovskite structure. Structural, microstructural, dielectric and pyroelectric measurements were made. The remanent polarization depends on the concentration of Li-ions, it increases for x = 0–0.02, and it decreases for x > 0.02. The investigation of the pyroeffect reveals the existence of polar microregions in the temperature range above Tm. The obtained materials are expected to be promising candidate for lead-free electronic ceramics.
