Abstract

A new species of stigmaeid mite (Acari: Stigmaeidae) Agistemus paraguariensis sp. nov. is described and illustrated from the State of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, based on specimens collected on yerba mate (Ilex paraguariensis A.
