Abstract
A new procedure for the synthesis of chiral BICP ligands is described. The protocol involves the reaction of sodium diarylphosphide–borane complex with chiral 2,2′-bisbenzenesulfonyl-1,1′-dicyclopentane in toluene, followed by HBF4·OMe2-mediated BH3decomplexation.
