Abstract
This article reviews the literature on combined treatment for adolescent depression when compared to either CBT or antidepressants alone. Findings from a number of large trials of combined treatment in adolescent depression are discussed, and these findings, together with recent meta-analytic data, are summarized to guide clinicians on the optimal use of combined treatment.
