Abstract
AbstractEcthyma gangrenosum is a characteristic lesion of Pseudomonas aeruginosa sepsis in immunocompromised patients. Only eight cases of ecthyma gangrenosum caused by Escherichia coli have been reported. We report a case of ecthyma gangrenosum due to E. coli without bacteremia in a previously healthy girl.
