Abstract

Children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) who also have attention‐deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) are also likely to have noncompliance — ignoring, refusing, defying, or arguing. Stimulants, while they work well for typically developing children with ADHD, have lower response rates in children with ASD.
