Abstract

The Front Cover shows how biocatalysis and especially multi‐enzyme systems are a viable alternative for the synthesis of complex glycan structures. The proper adaptation of reaction conditions makes “juggling” with a set of enzymes possible. In their Full Paper, L. Elling et al. present novel glycoconjugates, yet not realized by chemical carbohydrate synthesis. More details can be found in the Full Paper by L. Elling et al. on page 3131 in Issue 19, 2015 (DOI: 10.1002/cctc.201500645).
