Abstract
I first decided on the topic for this column when Ebola began to dominate the news, and people, along with governments throughout the world, were exhibiting signs of terror and panic. Morocco, which was scheduled to host the 2015 Africa Nations Cup, was expelled from the soccer event after it requested a postponement, fearing the spread of Ebola. The alarm seems to have subsided somewhat, but I suspect that panic will erupt again when an Ebola-related incident occurs somewhere in the United States or in another nation.
