Abstract
In the title compound, [Cd(C4H13N3)2](C10H6O6S2), the Cd atom, located on an inversion centre, is six‐coordinated by two diethylenetriamine ligands. The anion is centrosymmetric. The metal complex cations are connected to naphthalene‐1,5‐disulfonate anions via weak self‐complementary N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds into two‐dimensional extended sheets, which are further linked into three‐dimensional networks with channels along the a axis.
