Abstract

The title compound, C13H14O3, is a natural product isolated from Brickellia cavanillesii and is of inter­est with respect to its biological activity. The structure displays an intra­molecular O—H⋯O hydrogen bond and the crystal structure is stabilized by inter­molecular C—H⋯π and C—H⋯O inter­actions. The pyran ring exists in the half‐chair conformation.
