Abstract

Two molecules make up the asymmetric unit of the chiral title compound, C17H26N4O2S2. The dihedral angles between the imidazolethione rings are 23.7 (5) and 31.4 (5)° in the two molecules. The packing appears to be consolidated by pseudo‐aromatic stacking interactions involving the imidazolethione rings [centroid‐to‐centroid separations = 3.669 (8) and 3.675 (8) Å]. Short C—H...S and C—H...O contacts are also apparent in the crystal structure.
