Abstract

In the crystal structure of the title complex, [Cu2I2(C16H18N4)(C6H15P3)2]·2CH3CN or [Cu2{(Me‐pk)2en}(PPh3)2(I2)]·2CH3CN, the two copper(I) ions are bridged by one N,N′‐bis­(1‐pyridin‐2‐ylethyl­idene)ethane‐1,2‐diamine ligand [(Me‐pk)2en], forming a dinuclear inversion‐symmetric copper(I) complex with the two Cu atoms in distorted tetra­hedral environments and a Cu⋯Cu separation of 6.2577 (6) Å.
