A calculation, between 0.1 MeV and 8 MeV, of the range-energy relation for protons, as a function of the chemical composition of a photographic emulsion. A corresponding calculation for deuterons, tritons, and < alpha >-particles. A comparison with the experimental values in the case of the Ilford C2 emulsion.
