Abstract

The inside cover picture shows the key areas of atomic structural change that occurs within the carbohydrate‐recognition domain (VP8*) of human rotavirus K8 upon binding to A‐type human blood group antigen. These are the first reported data that reveal significant rotavirus VP8* structural changes upon glycan binding and provide evidence for VP8* adaptability to different host glycan receptors, which might have implications for cross‐species infection.
