Abstract

The work presented in this Special Issue provides a strong foundation to understand and utilize resistive switching in the various materials discussed here. The fundamental materials physics and chemistry illustrated provides important insights into a number of dynamic developments, and also provides a clear link to technology and architecture considerations, extending these insights beyond memory and storage applications.
