Abstract

With the development of wireless communication and networks technologies, the WAP is widely used. For the WAP, HTML needs to be transcoded into WML pages, so as to implement information browse of wireless terminals. This paper designs an intermediate transcoding model based on XML, which can solve the problem of transcoding from HTML pages to WML pages through XML intermediate bridge. This paper implements the design of the model, and then the experiment of pages transcoding is tested based on text file examples. The experiment results show the transcoding model has more accuracy and higher efficiency than other methods.
