Abstract

Given shortcomings of traditional tourniquet, a set of low-power processor based on sphygmomanometer and tourniquet multi-functional intelligent tourniquet is designed. WithMSP430 as the processor’s core, this design uses the amplitude coefficient to measure the blood pressure and heart rate. In addition to manual operation, an automatic choice for measuring the blood pressure and heart rate in real time is also available. We can do the measurement of blood pressure, the tourniquet to stop bleeding, dynamic information display functions in real time.BecauseMSP430 mixed-signal processors are applied, circuit design is streamlined, and the reliability and stability of the system are also improved.
