Abstract

ABSTRACTNewer non-reabsorbing implants have been developed to maintain the hypotensor effect of nonpenetrating deep sclerectomy. In this article the authors discuss a new non-reabsorbing implant with 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (Esnoper®, AJL Ophthalmics, SA, Miñano, Alava, Spain), its design, technique of implantation and the available scientific evidence.
