Abstract

The present work is devoted to properties of triglycine sulfate (TGS) single crystals grown from an aqueous solution with isopropyl alcohol. Dielectric and pyroelectric studies show a decrease in the phase transition temperature without its smearing. TGS crystals with isopropyl alcohol are characterized by internal bias field and the formation of a fine-grained domain structure typical for pure TGS crystals after X-ray irradiation.
