Abstract
Reports the experience drawn from three projects in differentorganizations to establish senior management development centres setagainst director level competences. The outcomes clearly differentiatebetween director and senior management competences. Discusses thefindings in terms of the nature of participants' expectations and thebroader organizational issues in supporting development needs.
