Abstract
Some classes of linear time-varying control systems of the first and second order that can be reduced to a time-invariant system by nonsingular transformation of the same order as the original system are considered. A description of the classes of systems that admit such a reduction by extending the space of states is given. By way of example, the problem of a spacecraft control in the vicinity of the collinear libration point of a planar restricted circular three-body problem is discussed.
