Abstract
Data on the specific heat of Rh-Fe alloys and on the resistivity of these and other 4d-3d alloys are presented to show that deviations from Fermi-liquid behaviour of the type that have been reported and discussed for actinide and rare-earth materials are also found at compositions close to those for the onset of a magnetic ground state in alloys of 3d transition metals. It is suggested that a unique class of non-Fermi liquids is unlikely.
