Abstract
In this paper, an analytic method for highly nonlinear problems, namely, homotopy perturbation (HPM) method, is used to solve the Von Karman swirling viscous flow, governed by a set of two fully coupled differential equations with strong nonlinearity. An explicit, purely analytic and uniformly valid solution is given. Comparison of the results obtained by the method reveals that HPM is more effective and easy to use.
