Abstract
Both sexes of the new species, APOLLOTHRIPS bhattii are described, with figures and measurements. A Tabular synopsis of the features common to closely related genera, the Echinothrips complex, is provided. A new character in the endothorax, the posterior process of the mesopraesternum, is described and illustrated.
