Abstract
The paper describes the structure and operational algorithms of a modified computerized measuring apparatus which measures reflective characteristics of objects placed outside the measuring channel at one or several microwave frequencies. Problems associated with automation and reliability of measurements are discussed, alongside the computerized control of the apparatus under conditions of a multi-job operating environment. Computer codes for preliminary processing and displaying of measurements are presented. User's interfaces are described.
