Abstract
It was found that copper-containing stabilizing additives slightly perturb polyamidation of caprolactam by increasing the polydispersity of polycaproamide, and the thermal and light stability of the fibres increases. 2-MeBI + CuCl2 + MgCl2 were the most effective. The copper-containing stabilizing additives to some degree decrease the adhesive indexes and fatigue resistance of the cord in rubber-cord samples.
