Abstract
Abstract. In this contribution we present a nonrelativistic transition poten- tia to describe the nonmesonic weak decay of Ë and ËË hypernuclei. This potentia is based on a one-meson-exchange (OME)model which includes,in addition to the ong-ranged pion, the exchange of the pseudoscalar ç,K and the vector ñ,ů,K .mesons.Realistic baryon –baryon (BB)potentia models for the S =0 , .1and .2 sectors are used in order to account for the strong BB interaction. Results obtainedfor di .erent Ë hypernuclei are comparedto the avai ab e experimenta data, including partial and tota decay rates as we as asymmetries in the angular distribution of the outgoing particles.
