Abstract
Lathrobium (Lobrathium) grande LeConte is redescribed; adults of L. emarginatum new species, late instars of L. grande and L. emarginatum, and the pupa of L. emarginatum are described for the first time. The two species are keyed, diagnostic characters illustrated, and distribution, habitat preference, and life cycle summarized. Based on characters from adults and larvae, monophyly for the grande species group is hypothesized, and the L. jacobinum species group (genus Lathrotropis of Casey) is suggested as its possible sister group.
