Abstract
Forty visual field tests (Humphrey and Dicon perimeters) were performed in 10 normal children. Nineteen tests were judged reliable based on reliability indices. Abnormal fields were significantly more common than expected in adults. Age and type of perimeter influenced the amount of artifact seen on automated field tests. Thus, interpreted with caution, automated perimetry can be performed in older children.
