Abstract
A linear relationship was found to exist between total dry weight and basal diameter squared for Pinus banksiana seedlings. Similar linear relationships existed, virtually independent of growing season, growing conditions, provenance and age class up to two years. The use of these relationships for the estimation of seedling dry weight is discussed.
