Abstract

A new genus Paratrophurus is proposed in Tylenchidae, with P. loofi n. sp. as type species. It is close to Trophurus Loof, 1957, from which it is distinguished by the paired female gonads. Specimens were found in wheat fields near Sevilla, Spain.
