Abstract

Using the standard addition method as an example, several versions of it recommended for the determination of volatile components in complex hydrophobic matrices additionally containing compounds with sorption properties were considered. It was demonstrated that, along with the extrapolation of results to the zero standard addition, the most efficient techniques are the artificial transformation of similar samples into heterophase systems, when the analytes are distributed between both phases and the interfering components are predominantly localized in only one of the phases.
