Abstract

The principle for constructing physical models (simulators) of extended routes of optical (laser) radiation propagation in free space is substantiated. A version of the construction of the optical system of a simulator, designed to calibrate measures of effective scattering area with minimum errors under laboratory conditions, is proposed.
